A lovely set of antique mid-Victorian balloon back dining chairs supported on elegant cabriole legs and re-upholstered in dusky pink Dralon. The set comprises: - six dining chairs made of rosewood that shows beautiful grain.

Seat width 46cm at the widest point, height 46cm, depth 36cm. Height 83cm from floor to the top of the backrest, backrest width 40cm at the widest point.

An additional mahogany chair with a slightly different back design. Seat width 44cm max, height 42cm, depth 37cm. Set of 7 (6+1) Antique Victorian Balloon Back Rosewood Dining Chairs VGC. An absolutely lovely set of antique mid-Victorian balloon back dining chairs supported on elegant cabriole legs and re-upholstered in dusky pink Dralon.

Condition: one rosewood chair requires restoration to the front joints; one chair has metal restoration to the backrest; a couple of chairs have minor glue restoration to the joints, barely noticeable but mentioned for accuracy; no woodworm damage; Dralon upholstery is fairly recent and in nice and clean condition.
