Chairs inherited from my grandfather, no longer needed and happy to see them off to a new home. Possibly Regency or a Victorian reproduction and the wood looks like mahogany. In good condition and no signs of woodworm.
These chairs were re-upholstered by William Fountain (then in Cobden Road, Leytonstone) in 2004 with hard wearing Covertex 48 Mil blue cord with small motifs in white on a diamante background and finished with braid. The upholstery is in very good condition. They are part of a set of 9 which included a pair of his and hers armchairs and a chaise longue. If you are interested in the full set please contact me to follow up. Cash preferred - collection only. In pictures 1 & 12 there are shadows from the setting sun behind the photographer's right shoulder. Dining Chairs: Dimensions mm Inches . Total height: Back to floor: 875mm 34 ½.
