Collection from Inwardleigh, nr Okehampton, Devon. This is for a Matching Set of 8 Vintage Carved Oak Slat Back Upholstered Kitchen/Dining Chairs.

In need of some TLC to the upholstery and could suit a painting project but a very heavy, sturdy and substantial set of chairs. Turned wood legs and traditional'H' shaped cross supports, seats upholstered in red velvet effect material with metal stud edging. The backs have turned wood outer rails, 4 shaped slats and heavily carved, shaped and curved top rails.

Marks, knocks and minor paint splashes to the frames from age and use while the upholstery is tired with the metal stud edging very discoloured and rusty - See Photos. Very useable solid and sturdy set but would certainly benefit from re-upholstery and re-staining/painting.

Cm at widest across the top rails, 47cm across the seats. 92cm high with the seats about 46cm high. Please view my other items.
