Antique 19th Century French Mahogany Carver Dining Chairs Painted / Upholstered

  
This is a pair of 19th Century French Mahogany Carver Chairs (Dining Chairs). Sadly dark wood is not very popular in present times so i decided to. Chalk paint the chairs and then distressed them. And re -upholstered in a muted lime green woven wool/linen upholstery fabric. The seats have been waterproof using scotch guard spray. They are lovely comfy chairs to sit in , beautifully shaped with fluted legs on the.

Front , the rear legs are staight cut which curves out. Two carved ladder back style and the top of the chairs are rolled back. Ends of arms are scrolled. Arms are wider towards the back.
