YOUNGER Set of 4 MI CENTURY Teak Dining Chairs. The seats have been recovered in a vintage pure wool herringbone fabric and are very comfortable. There are very few signs of wear for for furniture of this age, frames are offered in exceptional vintage condition. Very solid and sturdy, no loose joints at all. Please see photos in detail for condition.

Dining Chair Height: 87cm Width: 50cm Depth: 50cm. John Herbert was the design director at Younger Furniture, London and was one of the first to introduce the Scandinavian style to the UK in the 1950s.

He is especially known for high quality sideboards and chests of drawers made in teak and afromosia, an African wood similar to teak in appearance. Quality was high and output low, by comparison to G-Plan Danish inspired ranges. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
