Regency Bar Back Set of 4 Dining Chairs. Regency period, bar back mahogany framed and leather hide upholstered set of 4 dining chairs, Circa 1820. This handsome set of chairs feature solid heavy mahogany frames with attractively figured grain curved bar top rail backs, drop-in seats recently reupholstered covered with chocolate brown coloured leather hide. Raised on well proportioned ring turned front legs and splayed rear legs. A high quality set of period chairs, in a good condition and ready for everyday use. These chairs measure approximately 86.5 cm (34) tall, 48.5. Cm (19") wide, and 49 cm (19") deep. The seat height is approximately 46. Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. Chairs are in a good condition commensurate with their age, the frames are structurally sound and sturdy.

There are odd minor marks, and blemishes on the frames. Couple of minor repairs to the rear of the top rails, otherwise very clean. As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc. This item can be be viewed at my workshop in Stainburn, near Otley (Leeds), LS21, by appointment only.
