Pair of vintage French distressed painted re-upholstered occasional chairs. Hessian, coir, horse hair, cotton wadding, fire retardant barrier felt, calico, fabric. Original vintage distressed painted bedroom/occasional chairs from France with curved legs and carvings. These lovely chairs were sourced from south-west France.

Ive fully re-upholstered them using traditional methods and natural materials, the distressed woodwork and original paint (applied in a shabby chic manner) has been cleaned and waxed. I've upholstered them in a very pretty blue and cream diamond fabric, a. Of which can be sent on. A little woodworm was found on one leg which has been treated and filled. They are solid chairs with a generous seat and are vintage therefore have acceptable wear associated with their age.
