It stands on six elegantly turned and reeded legs that terminate in their original elegant brass and porcelain caps and castors. The superb and rare set of fourteen antique Victorian mahogany dining chairs, are Circa 1870 in date.With upholstered padded backs and stuff over seats they are raised on elegant turned forelegs that terminate in brass and porcelain castors with sabre rear legs. They have been reupholstered in a sumptuous Cardinal Red damask with expertly double piped borders. It is rare to find such a large, fabulous and comfortable set of chairs and they enhance the dining table beautifully. It is a very impressive set which is sure to contribute to successful dinner parties.
