Antique Set of Ten 10 French Os De Mouton Upholstered High Back Beech Dining Chairs Including Recovering (Circa 1930). The price includes the re-upholstery and re-covering of the chairs in a fabric of your choice (price excludes fabric cost). Style: Louis XIV Os De Mouton. Os De Mouton shapd legs. Fabulous grain configuration to frames. The chair seats will incorporate coil springs and webbing, to ensure they are firm but extremely comfortable.

The undersides of the chair will incorporate traditional hessian material. All you need to do is choose the fabric you would like to use on the chairs and we will recover them on your behalf. The price of the chairs excludes the cost of the fabric you choose. You can choose to decorate the chairs with metal studwork braiding (as per the original pictures) or not at all.

Incorporating high arched backs, the chairs are extremely comfortable to sit at for hours on end. The chairs are raised on shaped Os De Mouton style legs, united with a shaped H stretcher for additional strength. The chairs boast a warm brown colour. As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. These chairs would look superb in the dining or board room. They would certainly grace any home or office, and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. This is an original full and true set of chairs. They have not been matched together from smaller sets of chairs (which you see in some large sets of chairs for sale). There are no breaks to the back, frame or legs.

All chair joints have been dismantled and re-glued with additional corners brackets fitted, to ensure they remain solid in joint in the future. The frames have been professionally French polished in our workshops. The chairs sit firm on the ground, do not wobble and ready to use.
