This is an antique set of four dining chairs. An English, Edwardian, mahogany and upholstered set dating to the early 20th century, circa 1910. Mahogany displays a fine grain interest and a commensurate aged patina. Rich, dark hues and a consistent colour in a wax polished finish.

Classically patterned textile upholstery in serviceable condition - but showing signs of age and chairs would welcome re-upholstery. Strong, robust and of quality craftsmanship suitable for daily use. Wide, sprung seats and upholstered back providing a comfortable seat.

Nicely resolved padded back displaying interesting, seven bobbin balustrade. Offering good proportion with a comfortable 47cm (18.5) seat height. Classic turned front legs with moulded front rail, and shaped and swept rear legs. This is a desirable antique set of four dining chairs. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
